A therapeutic clinic
serving families in
the Houston community
Who We Are
The Stewart Center at The Westview School is a therapeutic clinic staffed by professionals with specialized training in the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. The Stewart Center serves children, adolescents and their families both from The Westview School and from the community, offering art therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and individual/family therapy. You do not have to be a student at The Westview School to receive services at The Stewart Center.
Why The Stewart Center?
The staff at the Stewart Center are sensitive to the needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. They are very familiar with the ways these disorders can introduce unique challenges for students as learners and for families. The Stewart Center works with children and adolescents with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, language disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders and adoption-related problems. Our staff also works with neurotypical children and adults. We truly serve the entire family.

The goals of our treatment are to help our child, family, and adult clients reach their potential by maximizing their strengths and working around or remediating their challenges. We can also work with families to learn new ways of looking at life that will help change your feelings and reactions.
The most central ideas in our work are that people are good and on unique paths to fulfilling their potential. You and your provider will work together to create goals, determine what methods to use, and learn how to measure progress so that you can realize your own greatness.
